What gains can I expect from Stage 1 on an Audi TT S?
Every Audi TT S engine is different, which is why they are listed separately above. At the top end the 8S - 2.0 TSI picks up 50bhp, going 310bhp to 360bhp with torque up to 500Nm.
How much is Stage 1 tuning on an Audi TT S?
An Audi TT S Stage 1 is from £449 inc VAT; gearbox software is £325 on its own, or £125 less when booked with the engine tune. Finance is 0% over 6 months with Bumper, or choose Pay in full when you book and pay with Klarna.
Is the ECU locked on an Audi TT S?
On plenty of them, yes. The later cars are locked from the factory, and the 4.0 V8 models are locked whatever the year. We handle all of it, on our own bench or sent away. What supporting mods does an Audi TT S need for Stage 2?
A decat or sports cat downpipe and an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 is not something we can map safely on a standard car, so without the hardware we would fit Stage 1 and you can step up once it is fitted.
What happens to my warranty and insurance if I tune my Audi TT S?
You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Every map is reversible, so the Audi TT S can be put back to its factory software at any point.
Can the remap be reversed, and how long does it take?
Allow roughly two hours for Stage 1, including any ECU unlock on our own bench. Everything is reversible: the Audi TT S can go back to its factory software on request.
