How much power will a Stage 1 remap add to an Audi 80?
It depends which engine you have. Across the 1 Audi 80 engines we tune, the 1.9 TDI sees the biggest Stage 1 gain: 90bhp to 140bhp and 210Nm to 320Nm, up 50bhp. Every figure on this page is for that exact engine.
How much does it cost to remap an Audi 80?

Does my Audi 80 need its ECU unlocking?
Quite possibly. Most Audis built from around June 2020 have a factory-locked ECU, and the 4.0 V8 TFSI cars (SQ7, SQ8, RS6, RS7, RSQ8, S8 and the V8 A8, Q7 and Q8) are locked well before that date too. We unlock them here on our own bench the same day, or send the ECU away for a lower price; the 4.0 V8 ECUs can only go the send-away route. Will remapping my Audi 80 affect my warranty or insurance?
A remap is an aftermarket modification, so it is your responsibility to declare it to your insurer. It may also affect any remaining manufacturer warranty. Our maps are fully reversible: the car can be put back to its factory software whenever you need.
How long does it take, and is it reversible?
Most Stage 1 tunes take around two hours, and if the ECU needs unlocking we do that on our own bench during the same visit, with no extra time. It is completely reversible: the car can go back to its factory software whenever you need.
