What does Stage 1 tuning do for an Audi TT RS?
Gains vary by engine. The strongest on the Audi TT RS is the 2.5 TFSI RS, which goes from 400bhp and 480Nm to 470bhp and 620Nm, a gain of 70bhp. Find your engine in the table above for its own numbers.
What does an Audi TT RS remap cost?
Prices start at £999 inc VAT for Stage 1 on an Audi TT RS. Each engine in the table shows its own price, and adding gearbox tuning at the same time saves £125. Bumper 0% finance over 6 months and Klarna are both available.
Will my Audi TT RS need unlocking before it can be tuned?
It depends on the engine as much as the year. Audis from roughly mid-2020 are locked, and so is the 4.0 V8 TFSI regardless of age. Either way we sort the unlocking: in-house on our bench or sent away, your choice, except the 4.0 V8 ECUs, which have to go away. Give us your reg and we will tell you which applies to yours. Do I need any hardware for Stage 2 on an Audi TT RS?
A decat or sports cat downpipe and an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 is not something we can map safely on a standard car, so without the hardware we would fit Stage 1 and you can step up once it is fitted.
Does a remap invalidate the warranty or insurance on an Audi TT RS?
You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Every map is reversible, so the Audi TT RS can be put back to its factory software at any point.
How long will my Audi TT RS be with you, and can it be undone?
Allow roughly two hours for Stage 1, including any ECU unlock on our own bench. Everything is reversible: the Audi TT RS can go back to its factory software on request.
