What gains can I expect from Stage 1 on an Audi RS4?
It depends which engine you have. Across the 3 Audi RS4 engines we tune, the 2.9 TFSI V6 Bi-Turbo sees the biggest Stage 1 gain: 450bhp to 530bhp and 600Nm to 780Nm, up 80bhp. Every figure on this page is for that exact engine.
How much does it cost to remap an Audi RS4?

Does my Audi RS4 need its ECU unlocking?
Quite possibly. Most Audis built from around June 2020 have a factory-locked ECU, and the 4.0 V8 TFSI cars (SQ7, SQ8, RS6, RS7, RSQ8, S8 and the V8 A8, Q7 and Q8) are locked well before that date too. We unlock them here on our own bench the same day, or send the ECU away for a lower price; the 4.0 V8 ECUs can only go the send-away route. What does Stage 2 need on an Audi RS4?
A decat or sports cat downpipe and an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 is not something we can map safely on a standard car, so without the hardware we would fit Stage 1 and you can step up once it is fitted.
Will remapping my Audi RS4 affect my warranty or insurance?
You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Every map is reversible, so the Audi RS4 can be put back to its factory software at any point.
How long does it take, and is it reversible?
Allow roughly two hours for Stage 1, including any ECU unlock on our own bench. Everything is reversible: the Audi RS4 can go back to its factory software on request.
