What gains can I expect from Stage 1 on an Audi A8?

Gains vary by engine. The strongest on the Audi A8 is the 4.0 TFSI, which goes from 435bhp and 600Nm to 680bhp and 900Nm, a gain of 245bhp. Find your engine in the table above for its own numbers.

What does an Audi A8 remap cost?

Will my Audi A8 need unlocking before it can be tuned?

Do I need any hardware for Stage 2 on an Audi A8?

It depends on fuel. Diesels need a DPF delete (off-road use only) and an uprated intercooler; petrols need a decat or sports cat downpipe plus an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 cannot be mapped safely on a standard car, so if yours has no supporting hardware we will fit Stage 1 instead.

Does a remap invalidate the warranty or insurance on an Audi A8?

You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Because we save your original software first, the Audi A8 can be put back to standard at any point.

How long will my Audi A8 be with you, and can it be undone?

Allow roughly two hours for Stage 1, or a half-day if the ECU needs unlocking first. Everything is reversible: we store your original software so the Audi A8 can go back to stock on request.
