What gains can I expect from Stage 1 on an Audi Q8?
It depends which engine you have. Across the 3 Audi Q8 engines we tune, the 50 TDI sees the biggest Stage 1 gain: 286bhp to 320bhp and 600Nm to 680Nm, up 34bhp. Every figure on this page is for that exact engine.

Does my Audi Q8 need its ECU unlocking?
Quite possibly. Most Audis built from around June 2020 have a factory-locked ECU, and the 4.0 V8 TFSI cars (SQ7, SQ8, RS6, RS7, RSQ8, S8 and the V8 A8, Q7 and Q8) are locked well before that date too. You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Because we save your original software first, the Audi Q8 can be put back to standard at any point.
How long does it take, and is it reversible?
Allow roughly two hours for Stage 1, or a half-day if the ECU needs unlocking first. Everything is reversible: we store your original software so the Audi Q8 can go back to stock on request.
