Audi Q3 remapping questions

How much power will a Stage 1 remap add to an Audi Q3?

Gains vary by engine. The strongest on the Audi Q3 is the RSQ3 - 2.5 TFSI, which goes from 310bhp and 420Nm to 420bhp and 620Nm, a gain of 110bhp. Find your engine in the table above for its own numbers.

What does an Audi Q3 remap cost?

Prices start at £449 inc VAT for Stage 1 on an Audi Q3. Each engine in the table shows its own price, and adding gearbox tuning at the same time saves £125. Bumper 0% finance over 6 months and Klarna are both available.

Will my Audi Q3 need unlocking before it can be tuned?

It depends on the engine as much as the year. Audis from roughly mid-2020 are locked, and so is the 4.0 V8 TFSI regardless of age. Either way we sort the unlocking: in-house on our bench or sent away, your choice, except the 4.0 V8 ECUs, which have to go away. Give us your reg and we will tell you which applies to yours. Do I need any hardware for Stage 2 on an Audi Q3?

It depends on fuel. Diesels need a DPF delete (off-road use only) and an uprated intercooler; petrols need a decat or sports cat downpipe plus an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 cannot be mapped safely on a standard car, so if yours has no supporting hardware we will fit Stage 1 instead.

Does a remap invalidate the warranty or insurance on an Audi Q3?

A remap is an aftermarket modification, so it is your responsibility to declare it to your insurer. It may also affect any remaining manufacturer warranty. Our maps are fully reversible: the car can be put back to its factory software whenever you need.

How long will my Audi Q3 be with you, and can it be undone?

Most Stage 1 tunes take around two hours, and if the ECU needs unlocking we do that on our own bench during the same visit, with no extra time. It is completely reversible: the car can go back to its factory software whenever you need.
