What does Stage 1 tuning do for an Audi A6?

Every Audi A6 engine is different, which is why they are listed separately above. At the top end the S6 - 4.0 TFSi picks up 120bhp, going 420bhp to 540bhp with torque up to 800Nm.

How much is Stage 1 tuning on an Audi A6?

An Audi A6 Stage 1 is from £449 inc VAT; gearbox software is £325 on its own, or £125 less when booked with the engine tune. Finance is 0% over 6 months, or 3 payments with Klarna.

Is the ECU locked on an Audi A6?

What supporting mods does an Audi A6 need for Stage 2?

It depends on fuel. Diesels need a DPF delete (off-road use only) and an uprated intercooler; petrols need a decat or sports cat downpipe plus an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 cannot be mapped safely on a standard car, so if yours has no supporting hardware we will fit Stage 1 instead.

What happens to my warranty and insurance if I tune my Audi A6?

You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Because we save your original software first, the Audi A6 can be put back to standard at any point.

Can the remap be reversed, and how long does it take?

Allow roughly two hours for Stage 1, or a half-day if the ECU needs unlocking first. Everything is reversible: we store your original software so the Audi A6 can go back to stock on request.
