Audi RS3 remapping questions
How much power will a Stage 1 remap add to an Audi RS3?
Gains vary by engine. The strongest on the Audi RS3 is the RS3 Performance, which goes from 407bhp and 500Nm to 480bhp and 620Nm, a gain of 73bhp. Find your engine in the table above for its own numbers.
What does an Audi RS3 remap cost?
Prices start at £999 inc VAT for Stage 1 on an Audi RS3. Each engine in the table shows its own price, and adding gearbox tuning at the same time saves £125. Bumper 0% finance over 6 months and Klarna are both available.
Will my Audi RS3 need unlocking before it can be tuned?
It depends on the engine as much as the year. Audis from roughly mid-2020 are locked, and so is the 4.0 V8 TFSI regardless of age. Either way we sort the unlocking: in-house on our bench or sent away, your choice, except the 4.0 V8 ECUs, which have to go away. Give us your reg and we will tell you which applies to yours. Do I need any hardware for Stage 2 on an Audi RS3?
A decat or sports cat downpipe and an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 is not something we can map safely on a standard car, so without the hardware we would fit Stage 1 and you can step up once it is fitted.
Does a remap invalidate the warranty or insurance on an Audi RS3?
A remap is an aftermarket modification, so it is your responsibility to declare it to your insurer. It may also affect any remaining manufacturer warranty. Our maps are fully reversible: the car can be put back to its factory software whenever you need.
How long will my Audi RS3 be with you, and can it be undone?
Most Stage 1 tunes take around two hours, and if the ECU needs unlocking we do that on our own bench during the same visit, with no extra time. It is completely reversible: the car can go back to its factory software whenever you need.
