Stage 1 is a software-only custom remap that needs no hardware changes — the right choice for most road cars, with strong, safe gains. Stage 2 builds on supporting hardware such as a sports cat, downpipe or upgraded induction. Not sure which fits your car? Send us your details and we'll advise honestly.
Yes. On ZF8 (BMW) and DSG / S tronic (VAG) cars we tune the engine and gearbox together so they work as one. The gearbox calibration — xHP or TCU — sharpens shift speed and raises torque limits to match the engine tune, and we'll usually do both in the same visit.
Yes. Diesel emissions systems cause a large share of running issues, so we always diagnose the root cause of DPF, EGR and AdBlue / SCR faults first, then advise the right solution to restore healthy, reliable running. We'll talk you through the options for your specific vehicle before doing anything.
It can. Because the extra power and torque arrive lower in the rev range, many drivers use less throttle for the same progress — especially diesels when towing or cruising. Driven the same way, a custom map often returns a small economy improvement; driven harder, you enjoy the performance instead.
