Audi TT remapping questions

How much power will a Stage 1 remap add to an Audi TT?

Every Audi TT engine is different, which is why they are listed separately above. At the top end the 45 TFSI (2.0TFSI) picks up 75bhp, going 245bhp to 320bhp with torque up to 470Nm.

How much is Stage 1 tuning on an Audi TT?

An Audi TT Stage 1 is from £449 inc VAT; gearbox software is £325 on its own, or £125 less when booked with the engine tune. Finance is 0% over 6 months with Bumper, or choose Pay in full when you book and pay with Klarna.

Is the ECU locked on an Audi TT?

On plenty of them, yes. The later cars are locked from the factory, and the 4.0 V8 models are locked whatever the year. We handle all of it, on our own bench or sent away. What supporting mods does an Audi TT need for Stage 2?

It depends on fuel. Diesels need a DPF delete (off-road use only) and an uprated intercooler; petrols need a decat or sports cat downpipe plus an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 cannot be mapped safely on a standard car, so if yours has no supporting hardware we will fit Stage 1 instead.

What happens to my warranty and insurance if I tune my Audi TT?

A remap is an aftermarket modification, so it is your responsibility to declare it to your insurer. It may also affect any remaining manufacturer warranty. Our maps are fully reversible: the car can be put back to its factory software whenever you need.

Can the remap be reversed, and how long does it take?

Most Stage 1 tunes take around two hours, and if the ECU needs unlocking we do that on our own bench during the same visit, with no extra time. It is completely reversible: the car can go back to its factory software whenever you need.
