What gains can I expect from Stage 1 on a BMW Z4?

Gains vary by engine. The strongest on the BMW Z4 is the 18i, which goes from 156bhp and 240Nm to 260bhp and 420Nm, a gain of 104bhp. Find your engine in the table above for its own numbers.

What does a BMW Z4 remap cost?

Prices start at £449 inc VAT for Stage 1 on a BMW Z4. Each engine in the table shows its own price, and adding gearbox tuning at the same time saves £125. 0% finance over 6 months and Klarna are both available.

Will my BMW Z4 need unlocking before it can be tuned?

Do I need any hardware for Stage 2 on a BMW Z4?

A decat or sports cat downpipe and an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 is not something we can map safely on a standard car, so without the hardware we would fit Stage 1 and you can step up once it is fitted.

Does a remap invalidate the warranty or insurance on a BMW Z4?

You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Because we save your original software first, the BMW Z4 can be put back to standard at any point.

How long will my BMW Z4 be with you, and can it be undone?

Allow roughly two hours for Stage 1, or a half-day if the ECU needs unlocking first. Everything is reversible: we store your original software so the BMW Z4 can go back to stock on request.
