What does Stage 1 tuning do for a BMW X5 M?
It depends which engine you have. Across the 2 BMW X5 M engines we tune, the 4.4 V8 Bi-Turbo sees the biggest Stage 1 gain: 575bhp to 680bhp and 750Nm to 850Nm, up 105bhp. Every figure on this page is for that exact engine.

If it was built from around June 2020 onwards, yes. Those ECUs are locked from the factory and have to be unlocked before anything can be written. We do it in-house. Check your registration and we will tell you straight away whether yours is affected.

A decat or sports cat downpipe and an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 is not something we can map safely on a standard car, so without the hardware we would fit Stage 1 and you can step up once it is fitted.
Will remapping my BMW X5 M affect my warranty or insurance?
You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Because we save your original software first, the BMW X5 M can be put back to standard at any point.
How long does it take, and is it reversible?
