What does Stage 1 tuning do for a BMW M3?
It depends which engine you have. Across the 9 BMW M3 engines we tune, the M3 sees the biggest Stage 1 gain: 480bhp to 640bhp and 550Nm to 800Nm, up 160bhp. Every figure on this page is for that exact engine.
How much does it cost to remap a BMW M3?

Does my BMW M3 need its ECU unlocking?

What does Stage 2 need on a BMW M3?
A decat or sports cat downpipe and an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 is not something we can map safely on a standard car, so without the hardware we would fit Stage 1 and you can step up once it is fitted.
Will remapping my BMW M3 affect my warranty or insurance?
You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Every map is reversible, so the BMW M3 can be put back to its factory software at any point.
How long does it take, and is it reversible?
Allow roughly two hours for Stage 1. A locked ECU is unlocked in-house on the same visit without a longer appointment. Everything is reversible: the BMW M3 can go back to its factory software on request.
