How much power will a Stage 1 remap add to a BMW M6?
Every BMW M6 engine is different, which is why they are listed separately above. At the top end the M6 - V8 4.4 Bi-Turbo picks up 120bhp, going 560bhp to 680bhp with torque up to 850Nm.
How much is Stage 1 tuning on a BMW M6?
A BMW M6 Stage 1 is from £749 inc VAT; gearbox software is £385 on its own, or £125 less when booked with the engine tune. Finance is 0% over 6 months, or 3 payments with Klarna.
Is the ECU locked on a BMW M6?
Only the later cars. From about June 2020 the factory locks the ECU, so it needs unlocking before tuning, which we handle in-house. Pop your registration in and it will tell you either way.

A decat or sports cat downpipe and an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 is not something we can map safely on a standard car, so without the hardware we would fit Stage 1 and you can step up once it is fitted.
What happens to my warranty and insurance if I tune my BMW M6?
A remap is an aftermarket modification, so it is your responsibility to declare it to your insurer. It may also affect any remaining manufacturer warranty. Our maps are fully reversible and we keep your original file, so the car can be returned to stock whenever you need.
Can the remap be reversed, and how long does it take?
Most Stage 1 tunes take around two hours, and cars needing ECU unlocking are booked as a 4-hour half-day. It is completely reversible, and your factory file is saved before we touch anything.
