How much bhp does an Alpina XD4 gain from a remap?
Every Alpina XD4 engine is different, which is why they are listed separately above. At the top end the 3.0 Quad-Turbo picks up 62bhp, going 388bhp to 450bhp with torque up to 850Nm.
How much is Stage 1 tuning on an Alpina XD4?
An Alpina XD4 Stage 1 is from £449 inc VAT; gearbox software is £385 on its own, or £125 less when booked with the engine tune. Finance is 0% over 6 months with Bumper, or choose Pay in full when you book and pay with Klarna.
What happens to my warranty and insurance if I tune my Alpina XD4?
A remap is an aftermarket modification, so it is your responsibility to declare it to your insurer. It may also affect any remaining manufacturer warranty. Our maps are fully reversible: the car can be put back to its factory software whenever you need.
Can the remap be reversed, and how long does it take?
Most Stage 1 tunes take around two hours. If the ECU needs unlocking we do that here on our own bench during the same visit, so it does not make the appointment any longer. It is completely reversible: the car can go back to its factory software whenever you need.
