What does Stage 1 tuning do for an Alpina D3?
Gains vary by engine. The strongest on the Alpina D3 is the 2.0D, which goes from 214bhp and 450Nm to 265bhp and 480Nm, a gain of 51bhp. Find your engine in the table above for its own numbers.
What does an Alpina D3 remap cost?
Prices start at £449 inc VAT for Stage 1 on an Alpina D3. Each engine in the table shows its own price, and adding gearbox tuning at the same time saves £125. Bumper 0% finance over 6 months and Klarna are both available.
Does a remap invalidate the warranty or insurance on an Alpina D3?
You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Every map is reversible, so the Alpina D3 can be put back to its factory software at any point.
How long will my Alpina D3 be with you, and can it be undone?
Allow roughly two hours for Stage 1. A locked ECU is unlocked in-house on the same visit without a longer appointment. Everything is reversible: the Alpina D3 can go back to its factory software on request.
