How much power will a Stage 1 remap add to an Alpina B4?
Gains vary by engine. The strongest on the Alpina B4 is the B4 Bi-Turbo, which goes from 410bhp and 600Nm to 450bhp and 680Nm, a gain of 40bhp. Find your engine in the table above for its own numbers.
Does a remap invalidate the warranty or insurance on an Alpina B4?
A remap is an aftermarket modification, so it is your responsibility to declare it to your insurer. It may also affect any remaining manufacturer warranty. Our maps are fully reversible: the car can be put back to its factory software whenever you need.
How long will my Alpina B4 be with you, and can it be undone?
Most Stage 1 tunes take around two hours. If the ECU needs unlocking we do that here on our own bench during the same visit, so it does not make the appointment any longer. It is completely reversible: the car can go back to its factory software whenever you need.
