What gains can I expect from Stage 1 on a Skoda Karoq?
Gains vary by engine. The strongest on the Skoda Karoq is the 2.0 TDI, which goes from 116bhp and 300Nm to 195bhp and 430Nm, a gain of 79bhp. Find your engine in the table above for its own numbers.
What does a Skoda Karoq remap cost?
Prices start at £449 inc VAT for Stage 1 on a Skoda Karoq. Each engine in the table shows its own price, and adding gearbox tuning at the same time saves £125. Bumper 0% finance over 6 months and Klarna are both available.
Do I need any hardware for Stage 2 on a Skoda Karoq?
It depends on fuel. Diesels need a DPF delete (off-road use only) and an uprated intercooler; petrols need a decat or sports cat downpipe plus an uprated intercooler. Stage 2 cannot be mapped safely on a standard car, so if yours has no supporting hardware we will fit Stage 1 instead.
Does a remap invalidate the warranty or insurance on a Skoda Karoq?
You will need to tell your insurer, as with any modification, and it can affect a remaining manufacturer warranty. Every map is reversible, so the Skoda Karoq can be put back to its factory software at any point.
How long will my Skoda Karoq be with you, and can it be undone?
Allow roughly two hours for Stage 1, including any ECU unlock on our own bench. Everything is reversible: the Skoda Karoq can go back to its factory software on request.
