This 2017 BMW X1 xDrive25d (F48) came in for our Stage 1 custom dyno tune. The 25d uses the twin-turbo version of the B47 2.0 diesel, rated at 231hp from the factory.

It made 222bhp and 441Nm on the baseline run and left making 276bhp and 522Nm, more torque than an X1 M35i:
| Measurement | Stock | DC Stage 1 Custom |
|---|---|---|
| Engine power | 222.7 hp @ 4,675rpm | 276.7 hp @ 4,828rpm |
| Engine torque | 441 Nm @ 2,077rpm | 522 Nm @ 3,233rpm |
| Wheel power | 176.6 hp | 237.8 hp |

On the stock run the torque sagged to around 375Nm at 3,500rpm. Tuned, this X1 holds over 500Nm from 2,250 to 3,900rpm, with up to 145Nm more right where the stock curve dipped, and keeps pulling past 260bhp from 3,600 to 5,000rpm.

Diagnostics and a health check first, then stock runs on our 4WD linked dyno with live data logging. The calibration was built from there with repeated runs, and the final pulls verified the result. No generic files, original software backed up and fully reversible.
