Another BMW petrol platform set up properly. This BMW 320i F30 — the 2.0 turbo petrol — came in for our full engine and gearbox package: a custom Stage 1 dyno calibration paired with xHP Stage 3 gearbox tuning, all developed live on our 4WD linked V-Tech dyno.

It arrived producing 175bhp and 279Nm on our baseline run. After the Stage 1 calibration and xHP Stage 3, it left making 271bhp and 412Nm — measured on the rollers, not estimated:

That’s +96bhp and +133Nm, and the transformation is substantial. The engine now delivers far stronger mid-range performance, sharper throttle response and a much more urgent pull through the gears — completely changing how the car feels in real-world driving, while keeping delivery smooth and progressive.

With xHP Stage 3 installed, the ZF8 automatic becomes noticeably sharper. Shift speeds are quicker, torque delivery is managed more effectively and gear logic under load is far more decisive — letting the drivetrain fully utilise the increased output while retaining smoothness.
All work was carried out live on our 4WD linked V-Tech dyno, with a full health check before any tuning and detailed data logging throughout. The map was written for this exact car — its ECU variant, its fuel, its condition. No generic files. No shortcuts. Just precision calibration tailored to the vehicle, with the original software backed up so it’s fully reversible.
