How Much Does a Remap Cost?

30 June 2026 · DC Remapping UK

One of the first things people want to know is what a remap costs, and the honest answer is that it depends on your car and what you want from it. Most BMW and VAG cars are £449 including VAT for Stage 1 custom dyno tuning, and you can see the full breakdown on our tuning prices page. Here's how our pricing works and what affects the figure.

What affects the price

Why custom costs a little more (and is worth it)

You'll find cheap "remaps" online for very little, usually generic files with no dyno, no health check and no support. Our price reflects a full process: a health check before we touch the car, a custom map developed on our in-house 4WD dyno, a before-and-after printout, and your original file kept safe so it's fully reversible. That's what protects your engine and delivers the gains reliably.

Spread the cost with 0% finance

You don't have to pay it all up front. We offer 0% finance so you can spread your tune over 2–6 months with no interest, use the calculator on our finance page to see your monthly figure.
