Why diesels respond so well

Turbo diesels have torque in reserve that a factory map keeps conservative for economy and worldwide conditions. A custom tune releases it safely, which is why diesels see such big, usable torque gains.

The N57 straight-six (330d, 335d, 530d, X5 40d) is our specialism, we've worked on it for over 14 years. It takes a Stage 1 map beautifully and, paired with xHP gearbox tuning, is transformed.
