The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) traps soot from your exhaust and periodically burns it off in a process called regeneration. When that process fails, problems follow, and they’re some of the most common issues we see on BMW and VAG diesels.
We always diagnose the root cause first, not just clear the light. Depending on the findings that may mean a forced regeneration, fixing the underlying fault, or a DPF clean. For off-road and motorsport vehicles we also offer DPF solutions; these are for off-road use only and we’ll explain exactly what applies to your situation.
