At DC Remapping UK, we understand that even the most powerful vehicles can always benefit from a little extra performance. That's why we were excited to get our hands on a VW Touareg 3.0 diesel and put it through our custom dyno tuning process.
When the Touareg first arrived at our workshop, we measured its stock power output at 245 horsepower and 570 nm of torque. These are impressive numbers on their own, but we knew that there was still room for improvement.
Our custom dyno tuning process began by making a series of precise adjustments to the engine's calibration, air/fuel ratio, and boost pressure. We also made adjustments to the transmission and other systems to optimize overall performance.
After several rounds of testing and fine-tuning, we were able to extract an additional 56 horsepower and 95 nm of torque from the engine, taking the final output to a staggering 301 horsepower and 665 nm of torque.
The results speak for themselves - the Touareg's performance was transformed, with much more power and torque on tap. The engine felt more responsive and the car was much faster and more enjoyable to drive. Not only that, the fuel efficiency and emissions were also improved.
