This 3.0-litre straight-six single turbo diesel is controlled by the Bosch ECU and paired with the renowned ZF8 automatic transmission.
 

Found across the F Series BMW 330d, 430d, 530d, X3 30d, and X5 30d, this engine provides strong torque delivery and smooth power even in stock form but when tuned correctly, it truly comes alive.
 

From the factory, BMW quotes 258bhp and 560Nm, though we typically see 250–260bhp and 550–560Nm on our linked 4WD dyno.
 

With our custom Stage 1 ECU remap, these figures increase significantly, transforming the way the car drives with sharper throttle response, stronger midrange, and effortless acceleration.

No mechanical modifications are required, and all factory emissions systems remain intact.

• Power: 320–330bhp

• Torque: 680–710Nm
   

The result is a more responsive, refined drive with improved throttle precision, reduced turbo lag, and significantly stronger pull through the rev range.

xHP Gearbox Tuning (ZF8 Transmission)

The ZF8 automatic gearbox used across the 30d lineup is exceptionally capable and pairs perfectly with our xHP gearbox tuning. This upgrade refines and sharpens the transmission for faster, smoother, and more intelligent shifting.

Available in Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 configurations, the software enhances:
