A cracking VW T6 Transporter in for a full custom Stage 1 tune. This Euro 5 2.0 TDI 140 — the 6-speed manual — arrived on standard software and left with a genuinely transformed drive, every bit of it developed live on our 4WD linked V-Tech dyno.

The numbers

It arrived producing 143bhp and 364Nm on our baseline run. After a custom engine ECU calibration written specifically for this van, it left making 183bhp and 425Nm — measured on the rollers, not estimated:

What the tune feels like

That’s +40bhp and +61Nm — but on a working van it’s the torque delivery you feel most. It pulls cleaner from low down, holds boost longer through the mid-range, and makes light work of a loaded van or a trailer. The motorway inclines and overtakes that used to need a downshift now just happen.

Every T6 is a little different — its exact ECU variant, fuel, mileage and condition all matter. Rather than flash a generic file, we wrote this map live on our 4WD linked V-Tech dyno, with a full health check first and detailed data logging throughout.
